Abstract

In the experiment, participants were asked to perform 16 predefined gesture-motion protocols as shown in Fig. Each participant performed 1 experiment in the order of Fig, performing each movement 2 times with a 1-minute break in between each set of movements. Since the measured sEMG signals were almost harmless to the subjects, they could stop the experiment at any time to prevent any discomfort. At the beginning, one should remain relaxed, the upper limb should be placed horizontally on the table, the elbow should be lightly supported, the palm of the hand should be down, and the fingers should be slightly flexed. All operations are started from this static position.

Instructions:

The experimental data source was 10 healthy subjects including 4 females and 6 males, subjects are informed and voluntary, aged between 22-27 years, with an average age of 24.3 (±2.03) years, height of 171.6 (±6.46) cm, and weight of 69.3 (±10.48 kg.). The subjects were not trained prior to the test. At the beginning of the experiment, each subject sat in a comfortable chair with relaxed arms.
