Abstract

This file provides the main descriptive information about this services dependency graphs dataset to model web services compositions.

This dataset represents the services dependency graphs (SDGs) generated by our developed Mutual Information-based Services Dependency (MISD) model for 4 public services datasets.

Instructions:

This file provides the main descriptive information about this services dependency graphs dataset to model web services compositions.

This dataset represents the services dependency graphs (SDGs) generated by our developed Mutual Information-based Services Dependency (MISD) model for 4 public services datasets.

The dataset consists of 4 folders:

1.Gabrel Example:

- This dataset is for the example given by Virginie Gabrel in the paper "QoS-aware automatic syntactic service composition problem: Complexity and resolution".

- This folder contains 2 files:

1- Original Web Service Repository by Gabrel: the original XML file showing the services` repository with their corresponding input and output parameters.

2- Generated SDG by MISD Model: contains the XML file for the generated SDG by the MISD model.

Reference: Gabrel, Virginie, Maude Manouvrier, Imen Megdiche, and Cécile Murat. "A new 0–1 linear program for QoS and transactional-aware web service composition." In 2012 IEEE Symposium on Computers and Communications (ISCC), pp. 000845-000850. IEEE, 2012.

DOI: 10.1109/ISCC.2012.6249407.

2. Pablo Rodríguez Mier Dataset:

- This dataset provided by Pablo Rodríguez Mier. It contains 5 folders, where each folder name indicates the number of services in this sub-dataset.

- Each sub-folder contains 3 files as follows:

1- Original Web Service Repositories by Pablo: the original XML files showing the services` repositories with their corresponding input and output parameters.

2- Generated Repositories with Random Parameters: contains the XML files for the services with Randomly generated input and output parameters.

3- Generated SDGs by MISD Model: contains the XML files for the generated SDGs by the MISD model for services with random input and output parameters.

3.Web service challenges 2008 (WSC08):

- This dataset is for the web service challenge 2008. It contains 8 services repositories.

- This folder contains 2 types of files:

1- Original Web Service Repositories by WSC08: the original XML files showing the services` repositories with their corresponding input and output parameters.

2- Generated SDGs by MISD Model: contains the XML files for the generated SDGs by the MISD model.

DOI: 10.1109/CECandEEE.2008.146.

4.Web service challenges 2009 (WSC09):

- This dataset is for the web service challenge 2009. It contains 5 services repositories.

- This folder contains 2 types of files:

1- Original Web Service Repositories by WSC09: the original XML files showing the services` repositories with their corresponding input and output parameters.

2- Generated SDGs by MISD Model: contains the XML files for the generated SDGs by the MISD model.
