Abstract

This dataset consists of electroencephalography (EEG) data from 10 healthy participants aged between 24 and 38 years with a mean age of 30 years (standard deviation 5 years). Five participants are male, and all the participants are right-handed.

Instructions:

EEG signals were recorded via 16 active Ag/AgCl electrodes using 16-channel amplifier (OpenBCI CytonDaisy 16-channel Biosensing Board). The reference electrode was placed on the left earlobe and the ground on the right earlobe. Table 1 (in readme.pdf) shows the channel labels indicating the EEG electrode positions (1-16). The EEG electrodes were placed according to the international standard 10-20 electrode system, as shown in Fig. 3 (in readme.pdf) . We used an 8th order chebyshev bandpass filter from 0.01 Hz to 200 Hz and sampled with 500 Hz. Power line interference was suppressed with a notch filter at 50 Hz. Data was recorded in OpenBCI GUI which is OpenBCI’s data recording software tool.
