Abstract 

3D-FDTD simulation results included in the manuscript "End-fire Optical Phased Array Designs with Multimode Interference Structures on InP, SiN and Polymer Platforms"

Instructions: 

The .opj files included in the 3D_FDTD_simulation_results.zip file contain the simulation results of the design process of the multimode interference structures and the end-fire optical phased array on the three investifated platforms.

The graphs included in the submitted manuscript are based on the series of 3D-FDTD electromagnetic calculations regarding:

  - Calculated beam properties versus varying number of phased array elements N (3 to 8 elements)

  - 1x5 multimode interference based splitting structures

  - End-fire optical phased array beam forming and steering
