Tremor

Mobile phones are central to modern communication, yet for individuals with tremors, the precision required for touch-based interfaces is a significant hurdle. In pursuit of social equality and to empower those with tremors to interact more effectively with mobile technology, this study introduces an optical see-through augmented reality (AR) system equipped with a stabilized filter.

This study uses a dataset from 5 subjects, including 4 with Parkinson's Disease (PD) and 1 with Essential Tremor (ET). The data includes Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and surface electromyography (sEMG) signals. The dataset supports conclusions in the article "An OpenSim-based closed-loop biomechanical wrist model for pathological tremor simulation."

The PD-BioStampRC21 dataset provides data from a wearable sensor
accelerometry study conducted for studying activity, gait, tremor, and
other motor symptoms in individuals with Parkinson's disease (PD).  In
addition to individuals with PD, the dataset also includes data for
controls that also went through the same study protocol as the PD
participants.  Data were acquired using lightweight MC 10 BioStamp RC
sensors (MC 10 Inc, Lexington, MA), five of which were attached to
each participant for gathering data over a roughly two day
interval.
