Recognition of human activities is one of the most promising research areas in artificial intelligence. This has come along with the technological advancement in sensing technologies as well as the high demand for applications that are mobile, context-aware, and real-time. We have used a smart watch (Apple iWatch) to collect sensory data for 14 ADL activities (Activities of Daily Living).

This study deals with derivation of an exact expressions for the current distribution and the input impedance of a circular loop antenna over a lossy half-space. the analysis is based on the image method, the direct integration of the vector potential, and the spherical function expansion. the results for the current distribution of this study are in very good agreement with those corresponding results available in the literature, which checks the correctness of formulations of the study.

Advances in Wireless Sensor Network Technology (WSN) have provided the availability of small and low-cost sensor with capability of sensing various types of physical and environmental conditions, data processing and wireless communication. In WSN, the sensor nodes have a limited transmission range, and their processing and storage capabilities as well as their energy resources are limited. Triple Umpiring System (TUS) has already been proved its better performance on Wireless Sensor Networks. Clustering technique provides an effective way to prolong the lifetime of WSN.

Smartphones perform Wifi scans to adapt to the changing wireless environments causes by mobility. From network monitoring perspective, such scans provide a natural stream of network measurements from client's point of view. In order to see whether such measurements can provide new insights in monitoring large scale wireless networks, we collected the Wifi scan results data, together with other Wifi related logs, from the PhoneLab smartphone testbed over 5 months. All data are collected passively from the smartphones.
